GRAVITY
Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney
Directed by Alfonso Cuaron
Gravity is a fast paced, chilling movie that I’m sure will keep me out of space for a long time! In a good way. The story follows Dr Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski, who are up in space when all hell breaks loose and their space shuttle is destroyed. The two astronauts, who end up stranded in space with no way home and decreasing oxygen, will have to decide to find a way home or let things run its course and fade out in the blackness of space.
This is a great movie. I was skeptical at first but I’m glad I went to see it! I should have known this movie would be awesome: just look at who’s in it! George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, two of Hollywood’s most respected actors, are some of the best at what they do: acting. They are two of Hollywood’s best actors of the past, present and future. Not only with these two starring but with a remarkably tragic and well thought plot, this movie will definitely be an Oscar winner in March. You don’t see too many movies like this these days that are all-around good. This movie has a 90-minute runtime which is also a key number in the movie. I thought this was surprising, because normally a movie of this calibre is around 2 and half hours, at least. I recommend you go see this movie--see what the entire buzz is about, because it’s well worth it.
