Remembrance Day 2013 at Barrie Central was a very touching and memorable day for staff and students who joined together in the auditorium. Mr.Brucker and Mr. Ramsay gave very thoughtful speeches. Also, the senior students who read the roll call had the very memorable and important job of reciting the names of Central's soldiers who died in the line of duty. It was completely breathtaking to think that some Central students our age went off to fight in war. Not all of them came back and they have given not only their families and country pride but also our school. They have done a great service to our country and will forever be remembered. We would also like to thank Elde College in The Netherlands for the very powerful presentation they sent us. Many of us were very moved by it and we wish to send our sincere condolences to the family, friends and students of Mr. Wels. Overall, Barrie Central put on a very moving and important ceremony. Lest We Forget.
