Every day is a precious moment; each moment should be cherished and shared.
Sadly, Barrie Central's head secretary, Mrs. Jane Hare, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family this past Tuesday, at the young age of 55. She was an important part of the Central family for the past 17 years. In addition to being a constant presence in the office, she was a keen supporter of our rugby teams.
Mrs. Hare, the beloved wife of Bob for 35 years, was also the cherished mother of four, dear grandmother of five (soon to be six), and sister of five. Ms. Hare, in Central's family studies department, is her niece. Mrs. Hare will will be greatly missed by all.
Her life was celebrated this past Sunday at Adams' Funeral Home in Barrie. Donations to Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated. A special notebook has been placed in the front foyer of the school for any student or staff member who would like to write a message for Mrs. Hare's family.
